I Am The One [DA:I / OOS]

In better news, I am so proud of this and its singlehandedly the most badass thing I've drawn. Now this I actually drew the other day for an art show I've done every year for the past four years.

Since this year was an independent study for me in art, I ended up having much less to show for it. So I made this for me to show my skills in full and boy I feel like they've really blossomed. As some of you may know, I have a love hate relationship with watercolors but I think I've finally learned how to use them well.

I do feel I should've used grey and not black for the background but it still looks cool so. Now I want to note the daggers and the breach, I typically try to stray from centering the character only because then your eye will focus on the piece longer but I opted to make this piece flow. In doing that the Breach was drawn to frame his hands, which hold two reverse daggers. This year I started the concept for a tarot card project and though I'm only doing the major arcana, I ended up using the meaning of the two of swords reversed here to a degree.

After finishing this and working on this I feel better, and not just because it's pretty, because I could pour everything I had into it and just zone out when I worked on it. Which was so wonderful to do.

I'm going to work on more like this on a smaller scale than 14 by 17 though when I go to do more while my laptop is down.

Which posting stuff on my phone is just, gah.
